MU88’s About page says it has a gaming company legally registered in the Philippines. It does not, in the public material we reviewed, provide the current legal entity name, company registration number or a licence number that can be checked against a regulator. The site footer uses “Copyright © 2012- MU88 All Rights Reserved”, which is useful as a public brand marker but is not corporate-registration evidence.

2. Look for a current legal-entity name and licence number rather than a generic Philippines claim.
3. Confirm whether Philippines/PHP is actually accepted before entering personal data.
4. Use one account only; the current registration flow states members may not own multiple accounts.
5. Do not send funds to a bank beneficiary provided privately if it does not match the cashier instructions.

The current MU88 homepage advertises iOS & Android, App download, Web-App and Add to Home Screen. We did not verify a Philippines-specific App Store/Google Play listing during this review. Treat APK/profile files from mirror sites as unverified unless they are linked by a domain you have independently confirmed.

PHP, GCash and Maya: not verified in this review

MU88’s Vietnamese help material describes bank transfer and online/e-wallet payments, but that does not prove the same cashier is available in the Philippines. We therefore do not list GCash, Maya or PHP limits as confirmed MU88 methods without a current official Philippine cashier.

Security and support

MU88 claims 128-bit SSL, unique login credentials and 24/7 customer support. The public material we reviewed does not clearly describe 2FA or an independent security audit. Domain verification and a unique password remain important.

Main Philippine risk: stale licence language

The key risk is confusing a historical or generic Philippines-registration claim with current regulatory authorization. PAGCOR’s December 2024 cancellation notice makes this distinction especially important in 2026.
